Last year Sailor built a new factory to manufacture its fountain pens in the city of Kure, very close to Hiroshima.

In the old facilities there were some trees that had to be felled during the works.

Sailor made the decision to make wooden fountain pens commemorating the inauguration of his facility.

999 units were manufactured and very few left Japan.
