A5 MD Notebook Cover Leather

This goat leather is sourced from goats that live in the high mountains of Central Asia. Although highly supple, flexible and light, it is also very tough. Designed to fit your notebook perfectly, it is made from a single piece of leather.

This is why although there may be blemishes or imperfections on the surface that are unique to leather, the finish is one of simplicity, with no coloring or backing cloth added.

Inside the cover we have added an attached pen holder. This is a small innovation to ensure that there is no unevenness when you write.
To insert the pen, simply pull up the holder and slide it in.

Tanned leather gives you the added enjoyment of watching the cover change in character over time. Enveloping your MD Notebook, this cover will change to an amber color, gaining depth and character together with the stories you fill it with.
This leather notebook cover is one that you can nurture over the course of many years.

Because this is natural leather, the following may occur (see last three photos):

-Stains on the leather surface: Since genuine leather is used, there is no uniformity like with synthetic leather. Depending on where the leather is stitched, stains and tiger stripes (uneven colored stripes) may appear, giving the product a different appearance.

-Wrinkles on the leather surface: Genuine leather varies greatly, and each piece has a different appearance and color. It may have some wrinkles, but they will become less noticeable the more you use it.

- Changes to the back of the leather: It is made from a single piece of leather to perfectly fit the notebook, so the back has scratches and unevenness typical of leather, which MIDORI has deliberately left simple, uncolored and unlined.
