They are a form of bookbinding using thread, called “Ito-toji”, i.e. stich binding, and are made by the artisan with keen eye on every process.To make “Ito-toji” notebooks needs many difficult techniques.For example, sewing paper in straight on a machine by hands requires excellent skills and folding it in half precesely as well.In this way, “NOBLE NOTE” is consited of many highly skilled techniques.
In addition, the front design of the product is in style of discontinued old timer typepaper pad.The design is very beautiful, so the frame has been reproduced from the old pad.
“L writing paper” exclusively made by LIFE. It has been developed since 2001. It has many advantages, to note only 3 good points.
-Fluent writing
The secret of fluency resides on very flat surface.This is made by high quality pulp.The good pulp consists of uniform fiber, so it makes the surface flat naturally. It is natural that paper has two sides; front side and back side.In general, feeling to write on the front side differs from one on the back side.On “L writing paper”, the difference is so scarce. The craftsmen check and regulate strictly on papermaking.
