The Pilot Custom 823 Amber is equipped with an interesting filling system. The rear part is unscrewed and pulled, then the nib is inserted in the inkwell and the piston is pressed to the initial position, proceeding to the filling, then screw it again.
To write, it is slightly unscrewed to allow the flow of ink, and at the end it closes, giving extra security for transport and avoiding leaks.
