Customized Celluloid fountain pen
Upon his retirement, Yukio Nagahara, the legendary nibmeister from Sailor, fortunately remains active, adjusting and modifying nibs.
The Kodachi is his version of the Naginata Togi, crafted on Coarse Platinum or Sailor Zoom nibs.
At Inktraveler, we are very proud to offer a selection of pens modified by Nagahara, which are so rare to find outside of Japan.
The celluloid is one of the materials used for the manufacture of fountain pens that offers the most intense and deep colors. Its manufacturing process must be meticulous and accurate.
The Platinum Koi gets its name from the Japanese carp, which inspire its colorful pattern.
Platinum fountain pens incorporate the "Slip and Seal" sealing system with which they minimize ink drying for a long time on unused pens, resulting in a fountain pen that always writes well and at the first attempt.
