The Naginata togi nibs that fits these 1911 series fountain pens are more stylized than their standard equivalents, their hand-carved iridium in the shape of an ellipse achieves, on the one hand, a great smoothness to the writing, and on the other hand a variation of stroke, no by change in writing from horizontal to vertical as in traditional calligraphic, but by variation of the writing angle.
