The Kaku-Tate Limited Edition is a mathematically perfect 12-sided ebonite barrel coated with layers of urushi lacquer.

Precision sanding creates duo-tone contrast and highlights the fractal-based shape of the fountain pen.

After a thorough polish, the pen is sealed with further urushi lacquer.

Successive cycles of lacquering-drying-polishing are carried out, where the variation in the tone of the layers and after the final polishing, gives us a clean appearance where the color of the faces contrasts with that of the edges, giving a harmonious whole.

The nib is japanese, manufactured by Sailor.
