Transparent, repositionable PET decorative tape from King Jim HITOTOKI SODA. 10mm wide, ideal for planners, journals, and scrapbooking. Easy to layer while keeping a clean transparent look on paper, plastic, glass, or acrylic.
The SODA collection, part of King Jim’s HITOTOKI line, is a transparent, repositionable decorative tape made from PET film. Its drop pattern, known in English as Drop Candy, is designed to add subtle details without hiding the surface underneath. You can layer it freely and still enjoy clean transparency on paper, plastic surfaces, glass, or acrylic.
Ideal for planners, journals, bullet journals, and creative notebooks, this tape is made for users who appreciate light, precise decoration that can be adjusted easily. The gentle adhesive allows controlled application and careful removal, keeping pages and objects neat and well balanced.
The Drop Candy pattern was created by illustrator and art director Keina Higashide. The design combines soft, repeating shapes with carefully calibrated transparency, allowing it to blend naturally with handwriting and other visual elements rather than overpower them.
This tape is a transparent PET masking tape with a repositionable adhesive. The flexible film adapts well to gently curved surfaces such as pencil cases, phone covers, and small decorative items. Because PET tends to repel ink, writing on the tape is not recommended unless using oil-based or permanent markers.
Each roll contains 5 meters of transparent decorative tape with a width of 10 mm, presented in the original King Jim packaging. (Product photos are for reference only; slight variations may occur.)
Cut the tape with scissors or a tape dispenser. When removing, always peel it off slowly from one end. Do not apply to skin or place in the mouth.
Avoid writing on the tape, as PET material repels most inks. If necessary, use only oil-based or permanent markers. Adhesion may vary depending on the surface material and surrounding environment, and some surfaces may retain adhesive residue or become damaged.
If the tape is left attached in high-temperature environments, it may peel off. Avoid direct sunlight and hot or humid conditions.
Can I write on the tape?
Writing is not recommended. PET repels ink; only oil-based or permanent markers may work.
Is it repositionable?
Yes, the adhesive is gentle and allows careful removal and reapplication.
Which surfaces work best?
It adheres well to paper, plastic, glass, and acrylic. Performance may vary on rough or delicate surfaces.
