Eboya Made in Tokyo
Ebonite fountain pen created by Eboya, the last factory dedicated to this product in Japan.
Ebonite was one of the first discovered polymers, obtained by vulcanizing pure rubber with sulfur (usually between 25 and 50% sulfur). Its name comes from ebony, as it could replace it in some applications due to its properties, and initially, it had a black color. Looking at the Tan pen model, you can now find vibrant and shiny tones, making them particularly attractive.
"Tan pen" translates to "small pen" and evolves from the brand's models into a convenient travel fountain pen with a comfortable size of 131mm when capped.
Inktraveler presents the Eboya with a paulownia wood box instead of the regular cardboard box, used for premium orders by the Japanese company.
