This pen’s Kyouka model is a true classic—an Onoto type fountain pen inspired by the 1918 design—and, as with all brand pieces, it bears the engraving Eboya Made in Tokyo. Traditional ONOTO type fountain pens. The name “KYOUKA” comes from “KYOUKASUIGETSU (鏡花水月),” which means “flower in the mirror” or “moon reflected in water”—a subtle and elusive image symbolizing something rare and precious. The perfect assembly of all its parts, combined with the deep red hue of its ebonite, results in a piece of exceptional beauty and lasting quality that stands the test of time.
