• A polyethylene dropper specially designed to fit the section of Platinum fountain pens.
• 5 sachets of ink cleaning concentrate (10 ml each), effective in removing dried or old ink residues.
• Step-by-step instruction manual.

Things to prepare

• A cup (180–200 ml capacity).
• A soft cloth that may be dirtied during cleaning.

Recommended usage

1. Remove the ink cartridge or converter and separate the nib with its feed.
2. Attach the cleaning dropper to the pen section.
3. Fill the cup with clean water. Inhale and expel several times to flush out ink residues.
4. Dissolve one sachet of cleaning concentrate in 100 ml of lukewarm water.
5. Immerse the nib, section and feed in the solution for 24 hours (2–3 hours if the stain is light).
6. Rinse with clean water and gently dry with a soft cloth.
7. For best results with Platinum pens, reattach the dropper and repeat the process of inhaling and expelling clean water about 10 times.
