The MIDORI Mini Letter Set with Stickers 943 For You Cat transforms a simple handwritten message into a warm and charming little scene. This delicate Japanese stationery set combines letter paper, envelopes and repositionable stickers featuring playful cats and colourful flowers, creating a soft and personal correspondence experience full of thoughtful details. Ideal for stationery lovers, creative journaling, small gifts and heartfelt handwritten notes.
MIDORI created this “For You Letter” series as a gentle invitation to rediscover the pleasure of handwritten communication. In this “Cat” version, the floral landscape in soft yellow and light blue tones creates a fresh and cheerful atmosphere inspired by spring gardens and small everyday moments.
The illustrated cats interact with flowers, butterflies and natural elements, giving each design a playful and expressive personality. The semi-transparent envelopes softly reveal the colourful artwork of the letter paper inside, creating a beautiful visual effect even before opening the message. The included stickers can be used to seal the envelopes or decorate the letter with different feline expressions and gestures that add warmth and a small touch of humour.
MIDORI manages to transform small stationery objects into details that feel especially personal and expressive, something that has become characteristic of many of the brand’s paper goods collections.
This mini letter set is designed for personal notes, small thank-you messages, gift accompaniments, creative journaling or short handwritten correspondence. Its compact format makes it easy to carry inside planners, pencil cases or notebooks while still offering a warm and carefully designed writing experience.
The paper provides a pleasant writing surface for pencils, ballpoint pens and many everyday writing instruments. The included stickers are made from a repositionable material that allows them to be removed slowly after use. The combination of illustration, texture and visual composition turns each letter into a small decorative object as well as a practical stationery item.

MIDORI was founded in Japan in 1950 under the name Midori Shokai Co., Ltd. Its first product was letter paper decorated with a traditional courier symbol, establishing from the beginning a close relationship with writing and personal communication. The word “Midori”, meaning “green” in Japanese, was chosen to represent the strength of a plant spreading its leaves across a field, an image of growth and evolution that still reflects the company today.
During the 1950s and 1960s, MIDORI developed business diaries, undated planners and compact memo pads that offered users greater freedom and flexibility. Products such as the 1961 Diamond Memo became revolutionary within Japanese stationery by allowing writing on both sides of each page in a pocket-sized format designed for professionals and students.
From the 1970s and 1980s onward, the brand expanded its creative universe with decorative stickers, correspondence products, illustrated diaries and desk accessories that combined functionality with Japanese design. MIDORI also developed products recognised with Good Design Awards and established a philosophy in which small everyday objects could bring beauty, warmth and emotion into daily life.
In later decades, some of MIDORI’s most internationally recognised collections appeared, including PAPER CRAFT, Kami Series, MD Notebook and TRAVELER’S notebook, introduced in 2006 and later developed into an independent brand under the name TRAVELER’S COMPANY. All of these products share the same idea: improving the experience of writing, organising and communicating through carefully selected materials, functional design and deep attention to detail.
“Handwriting still has the ability to make even the smallest messages feel more human.”
