The Nagasawa Milk Chocolate Fountain Pen combines a light brown body and gold trim with a stainless-steel nib featuring a weather vane and a cacao motif on the cap. Inspired by Felissimo Chocolate Museum × Kobe INK Monogatari.
The Nagasawa Milk Chocolate Fountain Pen pairs a light chocolate-brown body with gold-plated trim. Inspired by an ink from the Felissimo Chocolate Museum × Kobe INK Monogatari collaboration, it brings the collection’s warm colour into a ringless Professional Gear design.
With its stainless-steel nib and distinctive details, this fountain pen is suited to notes, letters and journals. It is also a thoughtful choice for anyone who enjoys Japanese stationery or would like to give a writing instrument with a story behind its colour.
The Milk Chocolate ink was created for a collaboration between Felissimo Chocolate Museum and Kobe INK Monogatari. Its packaging carries a message about sending especially sweet words to someone important. Nagasawa draws on that idea for this pen, combining a gentle light brown with gold-plated details to suggest the appearance of melting chocolate.
Look closely and you will find two details that connect the design to its origins. A small cacao motif decorates the cap finial, while the nib bears Nagasawa’s weather vane, a symbol associated with Kobe.
The pen is based on the Professional Gear model in a ringless configuration. Without a decorative ring interrupting the silhouette, the light brown body and gold trim remain the focus. The large stainless-steel nib has a buffed finish and a laser-engraved weather vane motif.
Nagasawa makes the Milk Chocolate with EF, F, MF, M and B nib sizes. Finer sizes offer a narrower line, while broader sizes put more ink on the page. Choose from the options available on this product page to suit your handwriting and the way you use your pen.
The fountain pen uses a cartridge or converter filling system. To use bottled ink, add a Sailor converter, sold separately. A converter gives you the freedom to choose a bottled ink that complements the pen or to explore a different colour.
The converter is not included and is sold separately. Photographs are for illustration purposes and the actual product may vary.
Is a converter included? No. The converter is sold separately and allows the pen to be filled from a bottle of fountain pen ink.
What is the design on the nib? It is a weather vane, a motif associated with Kobe and used on Nagasawa’s original fountain pens.
Founded in Kobe in 1882, Nagasawa Bungu Center has developed original stationery connected with the city’s identity. Its Kobe INK Monogatari inks express places and themes through colour. Milk Chocolate takes one of those colours beyond the ink bottle, bringing together a collaboration, a familiar writing instrument and details inspired by cacao and Kobe.
“A few words on paper can be as sweet as the moment that inspires them.”
