Design & feel

Glossy black PMMA resin with flat-top ends nods to Pilot’s 1960s classics, while rhodium-plated trim and an engraved “Custom 912” centre band add understated polish. At 137 mm closed and roughly 20.5 g inked, the pen feels substantial yet never heavy; the gently tapered grip keeps marathon writing sessions comfortable.

Broad #10, 14 k gold nib

Hand-finished by Pilot craftsmen, the 14 k Broad nib offers a buttery-smooth glide across any paper. Its rounded tip produces an even, wet stripe that showcases shimmer, sheen and shading like few nibs can. Filling system & capacity
