Pilot Iroshizuku ink cartridges
Inspired by traditional kōshi latticework, this sterling silver fountain pen combines Japanese aesthetics with a smooth 18K inlaid nib. Available in F and M.
The Pilot Silvern Artcraft Koushi Fountain Pen is inspired by the kōshi pattern—an iconic wooden lattice design found in traditional Japanese architecture. This motif, used in sliding doors made of wood and paper (shōji), symbolizes balance, harmony, and the subtle connection between interior and exterior spaces. The engraved sterling silver body evokes a calm, tactile elegance in every detail.
Kōshi refers to the grid of vertical and horizontal slats that frame many classic Japanese interiors. The Koushi model reproduces this pattern with fine engraving on sterling silver (925), creating a sense of depth, structure, and order. The carefully applied contrast between polished and recessed surfaces gives the pen a striking presence while remaining understated. Each piece is hand-finished to highlight the precision of the design.
This fountain pen is equipped with an inlaid 18-karat gold nib, offering a smooth, silent, and precise writing experience. Available in F and M nib sizes, it accepts Pilot proprietary cartridges and comes with a CON-40 converter.
Includes the Pilot Silvern Artcraft Koushi Fountain Pen, one CON-40 converter, and one black Pilot ink cartridge.
The Silvern Artcraft series by Pilot honors Japan’s most iconic decorative patterns. The Koushi model embodies the spirit of Japanese architecture—functional, elegant, and quiet. Like the lattice doors that separate spaces without dividing them, this pen suggests continuity, discretion, and visual balance. It is a tool of craftsmanship that speaks the language of calm.
