Pilot Custom Heritage 912 Music Fountain Pen
Pilot Custom Heritage 912 Music Fountain Pen
The Music variant carries a distinctive three-tine, two-slit 14 K gold nib that was originally engineered for writing musical scores. It delivers dramatic line-width variation: broad, saturated vertical strokes and crisp, thin horizontals, giving every chord name, lyric or flourish compelling visual rhythm. Like every Custom 912, it can be fitted with any of Pilot’s 15 specialised nibs (EF, F, SF, FM, SFM, M, SM, B, BB, C, MS, PO, FA, WA, SU). Explore the full line-up in our special-nib guide.
Concept & Design
A mirror-polished black resin barrel with rhodium-plated appointments projects refined understatement; the rhodium-finished #10 14 K nib balances artisanal hand-finishing with the tight tolerances of Japanese engineering.
Functionality & Filling System
Use convenient Pilot proprietary cartridges or the high-capacity CON-70 push-button converter supplied in the box. The converter’s one-handed pneumatic action fills cleanly and its generous ink reservoir keeps the wet Music nib singing through lengthy practice sessions or journalling marathons.
