The Platinum 3776 Century Black Music RT is a unique fountain pen designed to deliver an expressive and artistic writing experience. Its deep black resin body exudes quiet elegance, while the 14K gold Music nib offers a distinctive calligraphic touch.
Perfect for musicians, calligraphers, or anyone who enjoys expressive writing, the Music nib features three tines that create fine horizontal and broad vertical strokes. The result is a rhythm and character that brings your handwriting to life.
Built upon the classic proportions of the 3776 series, this Black edition with rhodium trim balances tradition with a modern, minimalist aesthetic. The understated elegance of the body is complemented by a specialized nib that transforms writing into a visual expression.
Thanks to the patented Slip & Seal mechanism, this fountain pen can remain capped for extended periods without drying out. It supports both Platinum cartridges and bottled inks via the included converter, offering flexibility and convenience for daily or creative use.
This model comes with a Platinum converter, a blue-black ink cartridge, and a complimentary Inktraveler ink bottle. Presented in a stylish standard box, it’s a thoughtful gift or a perfect addition to your collection. (Images are for reference only; actual product may vary slightly).
Founded in 1919, Platinum Pen Co. has established itself as one of Japan’s leading fountain pen manufacturers. With a commitment to craftsmanship and innovation, every Platinum pen is a reflection of the brand’s dedication to quality writing instruments.
The original 3776 model was introduced in 1978, named after the height of Mount Fuji (3,776 meters) as a symbol of excellence. Created by the late fountain pen expert Haruo Umeda, known as “Mr. Fountain Pen,” the design quickly gained popularity, selling over 150,000 units in just six months.
Between 2009 and 2011, Platinum launched a comprehensive technical overhaul based on more than 40,000 writing data points collected by its subsidiary Nakaya. The result was a new generation of nibs, feeds, and components under the "Motosu" and "Century" lines, blending form and function with unmatched precision.
"Write with rhythm and soul—let each stroke become a melody."
