The Platinum 3776 Higo-Zo-gan Sakura is a Japanese artisan fountain pen with pure gold cherry blossom inlay. Designed by master Kousuke using the Higo-Zo-Gan technique. Includes complimentary ink bottle.
The Platinum 3776 Higo-Zo-gan Sakura is an exquisite Japanese fountain pen adorned with a delicate cherry blossom (sakura) motif in pure gold. This refined decoration is applied using the traditional Higo-Zo-Gan technique—an ancient form of Japanese damascening that uses only steel and gold to create timeless, symbolic patterns.
The design was created by master craftsman Mr. Kousuke, a respected tsuba (sword guard) artisan whose family lineage preserves the rare Higo-Zo-Gan tradition with over 400 years of history. The sakura blossom, a cultural icon of beauty and renewal in Japan, enhances the emotional and artistic value of this limited edition pen.
Like the Gingko model, this version features a matte black ABS resin body and a 14K gold nib that delivers a smooth, expressive writing experience. Its lightweight and balanced design make it ideal for both everyday use and fine pen collections focused on Japanese craftsmanship.
Each unit includes a complimentary ink bottle from Inktraveler. The Higo-Zo-gan Sakura stands as a rare artistic treasure—a pen that transcends function and becomes a cultural statement.
