Brass Ballpoint Pen – TRC
Retractable brass ballpoint pen made in Japan by TRAVELER'S Company. Compact, durable and fitted with a removable metal clip.
Set of 12 Traveler's Company brass clips numbered from 1 to 12 and inspired by vintage hotel room plates. Use them as bookmarks, index tabs or dividers to organise notebooks, planners, books and documents. The brass gradually develops its own distinctive patina through everyday use.
The TRAVELER'S COMPANY Brass Number Clips Set of 12 provides a simple way to mark, classify and locate important pages in notebooks, planners and books. Each slim brass clip features a punched-out number from 1 to 12, combining practical organisation with the warm character of an ageing metal.
This set is ideal for journal users, readers, travellers and anyone who organises projects or documents on paper. It also makes a thoughtful gift for TRAVELER’S notebook owners and stationery enthusiasts who appreciate functional tools that gradually develop an individual appearance through everyday use.
Traveler’s Company imagined a small hotel in a distant country during an era before computers and the Internet. The typeface of each number recalls the room plates once displayed on hotel doors, bringing a subtle sense of travel and nostalgia to an otherwise minimal notebook accessory.
The numerals are cut directly into the brass, making every marker easy to identify at a glance. The uncluttered design keeps the clips practical while preserving the vintage atmosphere associated with the TRC Brass Products collection.
The set contains twelve individual clips numbered from 1 to 12. Assign them to months, chapters, clients, stages of a journey, ongoing projects or personal categories. They can divide an annual planner by month, separate sections in a working notebook or create a numbered reference system inside a journal.
Their flat format allows them to work as bookmarks, index tabs, page markers or numbered dividers without adding unnecessary bulk. They are not restricted to TRAVELER’S notebook and can also be used with books, planners, folders, envelopes and other paper-based systems.
The clips can also be attached to a backing card or envelope to sort documents, notes and business cards. Their visible numbers make it easier to establish a clear sequence without adding handwritten labels, which is useful for small archives, reference material and projects that are still in progress.
Slide the edge of the paper gently into the clip without forcing it. As these are compact metal markers, avoid inserting an excessive number of sheets at once and check their position before closing or carrying the notebook.
Brass begins with a brighter appearance and gradually changes through contact with hands, air and daily use. Its surface may deepen in colour and develop a varied natural patina. This transformation is an expected characteristic of the material rather than a manufacturing defect.
Small marks and changes in tone give each set its own appearance over time. Owners who enjoy the ageing process can simply allow the metal to evolve naturally, reflecting Traveler’s Company’s idea that well-used everyday tools can become more personal and meaningful.
The package contains 12 brass clips with punched-out numbers from 1 to 12, supplied in the original polypropylene packaging. The notebooks, books, envelopes, cards and other objects shown to demonstrate their possible uses are not included.
(Product photographs are for guidance; the colour, shine and patina of the brass may vary slightly from the original item.)

Traveler’s Company develops its Brass Products around simple forms and materials that record the passage of time. Brass has long been used in architecture, furniture, tools and decorative objects. As its surface changes, an ordinary item gains distinctive tones and signs of the way it has been handled.
These number clips bring that philosophy to the simple act of marking a page. Their hotel-inspired typography, compact proportions and clear numbering make them understated companions for notebooks, reading, document storage and everyday travel.
“Every number marks a page, and every page can hold the beginning of another journey.”
