Brand history and philosophy

TRAVELER’S notebook was launched in Japan in 2006 as a system built around a leather cover and interchangeable refills. Its design encourages owners to keep the same cover for years, customise it and allow its materials to change through use. Passport Size followed in 2009, and brass products later became an important part of the wider collection.

The model 030 clip is produced at a factory in the old downtown area of Tokyo. Its solid construction and evolving patina express a central Traveler’s Company idea: useful everyday tools can become more attractive, individual and meaningful when they accompany their owner for a long time.
