Midori Etching Clips Dogs
The Midori Etching Clips Dogs set brings four familiar dog breeds to everyday paperwork. These decorative paper clips keep loose sheets together while adding a personal touch to notes and documents. They suit dog lovers who enjoy useful stationery with distinctive details, whether at a desk or alongside a notebook.
Four dogs with finely etched details
A Dachshund, a Shiba Inu, a Chihuahua and a Toy Poodle make up this assortment. The designs are etched into stainless steel, with distinctive ears, tails and coat markings giving each breed its own character. Small fence motifs decorate the brown case, creating a setting for the dogs inside.
Keep loose papers together
Each clip holds approximately ten sheets of copier paper. Slide it over the edge of a small stack to keep the pages together without staples. You could assign a different dog to each project or attach one to a personal note, using the design as a visual cue among your papers.
The case slides open from either side, so you can reach the design you need. Sloping edges help the thin clips slide out smoothly. Its card-sized format keeps the assortment together between uses and fits alongside other small accessories from the MIDORI collection.

Frequently asked questions
Can I choose just one dog breed?
This product comes as an assortment of all four designs, rather than a pack of one selected breed.
Are these clips suitable for young children?
Do not give them to children under six. The clips have pointed parts and should be handled with care. Seek medical attention immediately if a clip is accidentally swallowed.
The history and philosophy of MIDORI
MIDORI was founded in Japan in 1950 as Midori Shokai Co., Ltd. Its first product was letter paper carrying a traditional courier emblem. The name “Midori” means “green” in Japanese and was chosen to suggest the strength of a plant spreading its leaves across a field, an image of growth that shaped the company's identity.
During the 1950s and 1960s, the range expanded to include business diaries, undated journals and compact memo pads that gave users more freedom. Introduced in 1961, the Diamond Memo brought this practical approach to a pocket-sized pad with pages that could be used on both sides, making it easier to take notes beyond the desk.
The 1970s and 1980s saw MIDORI develop decorative stickers, correspondence items and desk accessories that combined function with considered design. Some of its products received Good Design Awards. Across this growing range, ordinary stationery became a way to bring warmth, visual interest and useful ideas into everyday routines.
Later collections included PAPER CRAFT, Kami Series and MD Notebook. TRAVELER’S notebook launched in 2006 and subsequently moved from the MIDORI brand to TRAVELER’S COMPANY. Together, these developments reflect an enduring interest in writing, organisation and personal communication, using carefully chosen materials and practical details to make familiar tasks more enjoyable.
