MD PRODUCT A4 Horizontal Clear Notebook Bag

MD PRODUCT A4 Horizontal Clear Notebook Bag

The MD PRODUCT A4 Horizontal Clear Notebook Bag provides a simple way to carry and protect compatible MD notebooks, diaries and paper pads without hiding their design. Its thin, durable transparent PVC keeps the contents visible while shielding them from dust, surface marks and everyday friction. It is ideal for students, artists, architects and professionals who regularly work with paper in a generous format.

A clear bag with an understated design

This protective sleeve follows the restrained design language associated with MD PRODUCT. Its transparent surface makes the notebook or paper inside immediately recognisable and allows the characteristic glassine wrapping of an MD Notebook to remain visible. No decorative colour or unnecessary detail competes with the contents. The result is a discreet carrier that supports the original appearance of the stationery placed inside it.

Lightweight protection for everyday use

The transparent PVC is approximately 0.3 mm thick, creating a flexible yet durable barrier without turning the contents into a bulky or rigid package. It helps protect paper from dust, light surface marks and direct contact with other items while being carried. The horizontal orientation makes the contents easy to handle on a desk, in a studio or when moving between different working locations.

Because the material is clear, you can identify the notebook, project or documents inside without opening the bag. This is particularly useful when several notebooks or groups of papers are being used at the same time. The slim construction also preserves the practical character of the MD system, adding protection without substantially changing the profile or visual simplicity of the original product.

Made for compatible MD notebooks and paper

The bag is specifically designed for the MD Notebook A4 Variant, MD Notebook Diary A4 Variant and MD Paper Pad A4. It should not be treated as a universal cover for every A4 product from another manufacturer. Items described as A4 can still have different external dimensions, bindings or thicknesses, and these differences may prevent them from fitting correctly inside the bag.

Pair it with the A4 Midori MD Paper Notebook Variant Blank for expansive notes, sketches and project development. It can also carry the A4 Midori MD Paper Plain Pad, keeping its loose writing and drawing sheets together and protected when they need to travel between home, the office, class or the studio.

A generous format for projects and creative work

The A4 format offers useful space for diagrams, mind maps, calligraphy, academic projects, sketches and visual planning. This clear bag, protective sleeve or notebook carrier helps keep that material together in a clean, easily identifiable form. Its flexible construction adds very little bulk, allowing the contents to remain comfortable to carry in a suitable portfolio, work bag or storage area.

The history and philosophy of MD PRODUCT

MD PRODUCT traces its origins to the development of MD PAPER in the 1960s. The search for a more satisfying writing experience gradually led to a collection of notebooks and accessories designed to support the paper without distracting from it. This clear notebook bag follows the same principle by using a simple material to protect the contents while allowing the original notebook design to remain visible.

The MD PRODUCT philosophy is built around removing unnecessary elements and creating room to write, draw and organise thoughts. The brand calls this reflective margin of time Yohaku: an opportunity to pause and reconnect with personal ideas. Even a practical protector expresses that approach through a form that is clear, functional and intentionally quiet.

“Protect the space where ideas begin and carry it without hiding its essential character.”
