The Custom Heritage 92 fills directly from a bottle. Turn the rear knob to lower the piston, immerse the nib until its breather hole is covered and rotate the knob slowly in the opposite direction to draw ink into the reservoir. Its approximate 1.2 ml capacity supports extended writing sessions, while the translucent barrel makes the remaining ink level easy to monitor.
This fountain pen does not accept cartridges or converters. It uses a rhodium-plated Pilot number 5 nib made from 14K gold. The Transparent Black finish is documented in F, FM and M nib sizes, subject to availability. Flush the piston with clean water before changing ink colours and avoid Pilot Tsuwairo pigment ink, which the manufacturer identifies as incompatible with this filling system.
