According to the official TUZU page, TUZU was conceived so that writing becomes second nature, almost reflexive. From the moment you pick up this pen, you feel a perfect balance and comfort that let your ideas flow without distraction. This design philosophy underpins the entire Tuzu lineup: transform the act of writing from something deliberate into an effortless, enjoyable experience, regardless of grip style or writing habit. As noted on the official site, fountain pens like TUZU reward regular use: the more you write, the more comfortable the nib feels. Although periodic maintenance—such as flushing and refilling—is necessary, the pleasure derived from its smooth ink delivery and refined feel makes it well worth the effort. Additionally, the pen’s slide-type sealing feature prevents ink from drying even after extended periods of inactivity, ensuring that every writing session begins flawlessly.
The improved ink feeder, highlighted on the TUZU page, ensures a consistent, reliable ink supply when dipping the nib into a cartridge or converter. Combined with the airtight screw cap, this enhanced feeder design guarantees that your pen is always ready to write, whether you’ve left it idle for days or weeks.
Designed in Japan by Sailor, the Tuzu series represents the brand’s most contemporary stainless steel offering. Unlike their gold-nib models, the Tuzu Adjust features a durable stainless steel nib resistant to wear. It appeals to both those who have avoided fountain pens for their perceived complexity and seasoned pen users seeking modern versatility. Sailor’s global reputation for precision and quality is evident in every component, from the nib to the precisely engineered grip section. Available with either a cartridge or converter filling system, it’s as convenient as it is sophisticated. Order yours at Inktraveler and experience the slide-type cap that prevents ink evaporation.
The “Adjust” name refers to Sailor’s ingenious mechanism that lets you fine-tune ink flow simply by varying nib pressure and angle, producing finer or broader lines based on your technique. The screw-on cap provides an airtight seal to prevent evaporation. The ergonomic barrel ensures a natural grip during extended writing sessions, while the Tuzu finish adds a touch of elegance to any notebook. Whether you’re jotting down quick notes, drafting lengthy letters, or practicing artistic calligraphy, the Tuzu adapts to your needs—and its rotating nib feature accommodates left-handed writers with ease.
1. Remove the cap and unscrew the barrel.
2. Pull down on the locking ring to slide the grip section downward.
3. Rotate and slide the grip to set the nib at the desired angle (increments of 10°).
4. Find the optimal angle for your writing style (right- or left-handed) and slide the grip back into its original position.
5. Push the locking ring up until it snaps into place and reattach the barrel.
6. With the anchor icon on the nib facing upward, write with a slight incline to achieve optimal ink flow.
7. For left-handed users: rotate the nib until the preferred side faces up and test different angles until you find the most comfortable setting.
This model is available only with a stainless steel nib. However, the Tuzu series also comes in other finishes, such as the Tuzu Adjust Gray. Don’t miss out—order your Sailor Tuzu Adjust now and enjoy ultra-fast shipping from our warehouse in Spain.
