Glassy concept and design
The TUZU Glassy collection brings the functional TUZU design to a transparent, demonstrator-inspired aesthetic. In the Crystal White version, Sailor uses an internal polycarbonate structure with a polished appearance that enhances transparency and reveals the construction of the fountain pen. The result is a modern and technical writing instrument in which the internal mechanism itself becomes part of the design.
Adjust System: a fountain pen that adapts to your writing
One of the defining features of TUZU is its rotating nib adjustment system. Rather than requiring the writer to change their natural way of holding a fountain pen, the nib can be rotated to adapt its position to the individual writing angle. Adjustment is possible in 10° increments, making it easier to find a comfortable position according to each writer’s grip and writing habits.
Natural Fit Grip
The grip section incorporates Sailor’s Natural Fit Grip, designed with two gently sloping surfaces where the fingers can rest naturally. Its generous contact area helps provide a stable and comfortable hold. Combined with the rotating nib system, it allows the writing position to be personalised without forcing the hand into an unnatural grip.
Nib and filling system
The Sailor TUZU Glassy Crystal White is fitted with a stainless steel nib available in three nib sizes: Fine (F), Medium (M) and Broad (B). It uses Sailor’s proprietary cartridge/converter filling system and is supplied with a converter installed inside the pen, allowing it to be used with bottled fountain pen ink or Sailor ink cartridges.
