MD Paper for fountain pen writing
MD Paper is designed to provide a smooth and controlled writing experience. Its surface works particularly well with fountain pens and helps minimise feathering and ink bleeding through the page. It is also suitable for rollerballs, ballpoint pens, mechanical pencils, standard pencils and other everyday writing instruments.
Results may vary according to ink flow, nib width and drying time. When using a broad nib or particularly wet ink, allow the page to dry before closing the notebook. This helps prevent ink from transferring onto the facing page and keeps completed notes clean.
Flexible refill system
The refill fits beneath the internal elastic band of a Regular Size TRAVELER’S notebook cover. No rings or rigid mechanism are required, making the notebook easy to replace when every page has been filled. It can also be used independently as a lightweight notebook for a specific journey, project or subject.
Connecting bands can be used when several inserts are needed inside the same leather cover. This allows the lined notebook to sit alongside a diary, grid refill, sketchbook or another format selected for the way you work, write and travel.

Brand history and philosophy
TRAVELER’S notebook was launched in Japan in 2006 with five different refill options. Its modular system was designed so that each owner could retain the same cover while adapting the interior to changing needs. Passport Size followed in 2009, and brass products, Spiral Ring Notebooks and customisation accessories later expanded the range.
In 2015, the brand changed its name from MIDORI to Traveler’s Company.
