The 003 Blank Regular Refill – Traveler’s Company provides 64 completely unruled pages for writing, drawing, arranging compositions and preserving memories without lines or grids. Made in Japan using white MD Paper, it fits the Regular Size TRAVELER’S notebook and can also be used independently as a slim notebook.

Ideal for writers, sketchers, travellers and creative journal users. Its blank pages make it easy to combine handwriting, drawings, maps, photographs, tickets, stamps and other small pieces of a journey.

Freedom on every page

With no printed layout, each page can be approached differently. Write horizontally or vertically, build an illustrated journal, draw scenes observed while travelling or arrange words and images without following a predetermined structure. Every spread can respond to a different idea, project, destination or moment.

The tall Regular Size format provides a practical surface for continuous writing, panoramic sketches and mixed-media layouts. Its slim profile fits inside the leather cover without adding unnecessary bulk. Completed notebooks can be removed and archived by date, destination or subject.

MD Paper for writing and sketching

MD Paper is designed to provide a smooth and controlled writing experience. Its surface works particularly well with fountain pens and helps minimise feathering and ink bleeding through the page. It is also suitable for rollerballs, ballpoint pens, mechanical pencils, standard pencils, compatible markers and light colour applications.

Performance may vary depending on ink flow, nib width and drying time. When using a broad nib or particularly wet fountain pen ink, allow the page to dry before closing the notebook. The paper supports drawing and light colouring, but it is not intended to replace specialist paper for intensive wet techniques.

Writing, sketches and travel memories

Use the refill as a personal journal, idea notebook, sketchbook or visual archive. Photographs, labels, tickets and paper ephemera can be pasted beside handwritten notes. Combining physical objects with writing creates a personal record of a journey that can be revisited long after returning home.

A flexible refill system

The notebook fits beneath the internal elastic band of a Regular Size TRAVELER’S notebook cover, with no rings or rigid mechanism required. Once completed, it can be removed, archived and replaced. Connecting bands can be used to combine it with a diary, lined notebook or grid refill inside the same leather cover.

Brand history and philosophy

TRAVELER’S notebook was launched in Japan in 2006 with five different refill options. The blank notebook has traditionally been supplied inside the TRAVELER’S notebook cover, reflecting the purpose of the system: begin with an open space and allow each owner to decide how it should be used.

In 2015, the brand changed its name from MIDORI to Traveler’s Company. It continues to develop tools for approaching everyday life as a journey, with an emphasis on simplicity, personalisation and the pleasure of preserving ideas on paper. The 003 Blank Refill embodies that philosophy by providing the freedom to write, draw, paste and experiment without an imposed structure.
